Registration for our faith formation ministries, including Families Growing in Faith and High School Youth Ministry. See the registration links at our homepage. Contact Julie Sutton, our Director of Religious Education, or Rachel Shumar, our Youth Minister, for questions and to connect.

Our "Catholic Conversations" by Zoom, beginning this Tuesday at 7pm. This is a chance to explore each week's readings and also topics central to our Catholic Christian faith. Contact Justin Huyck to receive the link.

If you or someone you know is thinking about becoming Catholic, now is a great time to take a look. We want to help you explore whether Catholicism is right for you. We'd love it if you could part of our Tuesday Zoom gatherings. But we are flexible, and the most important thing is to start the conversation. Talk to Justin or any of our priests if you are interested.

Next Sunday at the 5:30pm Mass we will celebrating Mass along with our local health care professionals and first responders. This Mass will be offered in gratitude for for the love and support they provide our community. You may join us in person or online.

Our Year-Round Food Drive continues, and this week Catholic Charities especially seeks Pasta Sauce and and canned beef stew.

Our parish office remains open from 9am - 2pm by appointment. Please call to set up an appointment: (330) 492-3119. If you reach our voicemail, please leave a messsage and we will return your call as soon as we can.

We again thank all who have continued your financial support of the ministries of St Michael Catholic Community. As you have seen in the weekly bulletin, we have been falling behind the needs of normal operations. For example, the month of May was the lowest month for Sunday contributions in the past 5 years, and the month of June was very similar.

Our original contingency financial plans assumed a return to ‘normal’ in August, which we now know was overly optimistic, and we expect that we will continue to see challenging financial trends through next year. Our parish’s Finance Council continues to carefully monitor the financial landscape and provide expert advice, helping us ensure that our parish operations are financially responsible even as we seek to prioritize vibrant parish ministries (see this bulletin for some of those ministries, including Social Justice, Youth Ministry, and or Summer Stewardship Project).

As we consider this new reality, we again thank you for your support as it has been amazing - especially since we know that so many are hurting right now. And, we ask that you review your existing level of support. Use online giving if you can and please increase your contribution where your circumstances permit. You can enroll for online giving at https://stmichaelcanton.weshareonline.org/ | You can also sign up for electronic giving even without going online - see the form in this bulletin, or please contact Bruce Gordon in the parish office with any questions: (330) 492-3119, extension 211; bruce@stmichaelcanton.org.
